One of my passions is archival research, and I believe that the more that historical documents are digitized and made accessible online, the more useful they can be in furthering our knowledge and understanding of both the past and the present. Since you can't feel the dust of history in viewing these documents electronically the same way that I did when handling them, you'll just have to imagine it.
